Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented California Beach
A chopper hovering above a well-attended California shoreline unexpectedly began spiraling wildly, finally losing altitude and plunging into a line of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Videos posted online depict the chopper beginning to twirl above the shoreline then plunging near the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged amidst palms and a staircase close to the coastal road.

The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were taken to hospital comprising a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the incident on the weekend.
Three people on the street were harmed. Details on their wounds were still under review.
