Passengers on this carrier can soon enjoy high-speed internet during flights free of charge following a recent agreement involving SpaceX's communications provider.
No-cost plus Quick Wifi Available to Everyone
The carrier stated that this free, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet provision via the satellite provider becomes accessible to travelers flying coach, premium economy, and premium cabins from next month.
Expanded Rollout Across Several Airlines
The umbrella company for the airline, International Airlines Group, stated it had reached an agreement involving the satellite firm to provide connectivity access for over 500 planes within its operators, such as Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus the low-cost airline.
Smooth Internet starting at Boarding to Arrival
The airline explained that this introduction for the technology formed part of a £7bn “transformation” program that will offer smooth internet service for travelers starting at the gate through arrival, also when they are flying above oceans and isolated areas.
Customers can link several electronics while they will not require a unique login.

Current Wifi Options
Limited internet service remains provided for British Airways passengers across most of its jets via the .air platform.
Enrollees of the airline's loyalty club may dispatch communications and text-based correspondence onboard without paying, whereas flyers looking to stream audio, video, or movies throughout their flight who are not flying in business or first may be charged from four pounds ninety-nine and twenty-one pounds ninety-nine per wifi package.

Recent Upgrades at British Airways
